What is Voice Empowerment?

Voice Empowerment is a creative and interactive short-term therapy that supports individuals in finding their voice. This can include developing ease and versatility with the physical voice for speaking, singing or well-being. The therapy can also address metaphoric issues relating to “having a voice”. By connecting with the voice, clients can overcome physical, emotional, and spiritual blocks to personal and professional success.

Who can benefit from Voice Empowerment?

Just about anyone who wishes to speak, sing, create, or live with his or her voice more effectively, confidently, and comfortably can benefit from Voice Empowerment.  This includes public speakers, corporate professionals, sales people, performers, mothers, fathers, partners, students, and artists to name a few.

What should I expect from Voice Empowerment work?

Voice Empowerment clients achieve a variety of results including

•  Increased comfort and confidence in the sound of your voice

•  Increased confidence in speaking publicly or privately

•  Improved range, flexibility, and versatility

•  Increased sense of having a voice

•  A healthy sense of entitlement

•  Freedom to speak, sing, make sound

•  Decrease in self-consciousness and shyness

•  Satisfaction and fulfillment in the use of your voice, speaking or singing

•  Deeper connection to yourself

What happens in a typical Voice Empowerment session?

We use our voices every day as a primary mode of communication, as an expression of who we are. Whether we do this consciously or not, we are saying many things with our voices beyond our words.

Voice Empowerment sessions build self-awareness, vocal facility and confidence. The process varies depending on individual needs and interests. It includes explorations of breath, body-alignment, feelings, and imagination. As we allow ourselves to sound in new and different ways, feelings and images can guide us to explore the range and flexibility of voice we never believed we had.

Voice Empowerment is a way to find your voice, dare to have voice, or connect to your authentic voice, It is an adventure into the richness of your own resonance for speaking, singing, and well-being.
